Pakistan Super League 2022 is held in February and March every year but this time it will be expected that its starts at the end of January 2022. The drafting of PSL7 will be in after 10 December.

- Babar Azam (Karachi Kings)
- Hassan Ali (Peshawar Zalmi)
- Shaheen Afridi (Lahore Qalandar)
Shahid Afridi and Imad Wasim are expected to the part of the Quetta Gladiator. Also, Shahid Afridi stated that it will not confirm by him but the franchise owners of Quetta Gladiator said that Shahid Afridi will join Quetta Gladiator in PSL7. Lahore Qalandar is likely to appoint Brendon Muccullum as the coach of the Lahore Qalandars team for the PSL7.
Hassan Ali will play in Peshwar Zalmi and this is the confirmed news but there is other news are circulating and it's expected that Hassan Ali will be the captain of Peshawar Zalmi.
Babar Azam will be the captain of Karachi Kings because all franchise owners were saying that to release Babar Azam or give him the captaincy of Karachi Kings So, this year Babar Azam will be the captain of Karachi Kings.
