Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the result of award winners. The cricketers won awards for their outstanding performances. These awards help to develop players to improve their performances. It's a good initiative of PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board). There are 10 players who got the PCB award cricket of the year.
Shaheen Afridi
Shaheen Afridi is the Fast bowler of the Pakistan cricket team. He is also a young bowler who performs like an experienced player. So, Shaheen Afridi got the award of Impactful Performance of the year for his performance against India in the T20 world cup. He send Rohit Sharma to the Pavillion on a duck also he bowled 4 overs with 3-31.
Muhammad Wasim Junior
Muhammad Wasim Junior is a young player and emerging player of Pakistan also he performed very well in domestic and as well as in international cricket. So, he got the award Emerging Cricketer of the year and he deserves this award because of his performance and hard work.
Babar Azam
Babar Azam is a number 1 player all over the world he made & break many records in his cricket career he not only performed well this time, in fact, he is performing well for consecutive 3 years. He got the Best ODI Cricketer of the year award. His captaincy, batting & decision-making is impressive. In PSL 6 he was the number 1 batsman with 554 scores. Also since 2000, he scored 14 centuries in One Day International for Pakistan. He is the living legend.
Nida Dar
Nida Rashid Dar is an international cricketer and her debut was in October 2010, She got the Women Cricketer of the year award and she is the first Pakistani cricketer who has taken 100 wickets in T20 Internationals. She performed very well and she deserves this award.
Hassan Ali
Hassan Ali is the fast bowler of the Pakistan International team and he got the Test Cricketer of the year award. Although sometimes he proves costly besides he has class and experience. He is an amazing bowler and he proved himself 100 times that he is the backbone of the team not only in bowling but he surprised his audience many times while batting. he has the ability to hit long sixes also he can do match-winning batting.
Spirit of Cricket
Spirit of the cricket award is for the whole Pakistan T20 world cup squad. In t20 World Cup the Pakistan team visited the dressing room of Namibia after the match to encourage and motivate them for future cricket. Although it was a good sign and gave a great message to the whole world.
Muhammad Rizwan
Muhammad Rizwan is a jolly cricketer who also has the ability to win matches, he got the T20 Cricketer of the year award as he played very well in PSL 6 and also he gave the best performance in the t20 world cup. He played 167 T20 matches and made 4065 runs with 1 century and 29 half-centuries also he got the Most valuable cricketer of the year award. In the T20 world cup, he and Babar Azam made a partnership of 152 and were on the match by 10 wickets against India. Also, he shut those mouths who said that he can't hit a six, he proved them wrong hit long sixes in the T20 world cup.
Asif Yaqoob
Asif Yaqoob is the Pakistani Cricket Umpire, he officiates for Pakistan Super League. He got the Umpire of the year award because of his accurate decisions and also he is a consistent umpire, also he has been shortlisted in the 2020 PCB Umpire of the year award. He umpired in the ODI world cup 15 times and 5 times in the T20 world cup international.
Sahibzada Farhan
Sahibzada Farhan is a right-handed batsman and he got the Domestic Cricketer of the year award. His performance was pretty impressive in domestic matches as he played 48 matches with almost 1100 scores.
